Morning folks. Perhaps it's the soothing colors of this latest attempt at finding a layout that I'm comfortable with that did it, but I actually slept last night. Instead of getting up at the ridiculous time of 1 or 2 am I did'nt crawl out of my lair until 4 am. Slacker! In case you're wondering, I usually turn in about 10 pm. Too many years of getting by on 3 or 4 hours of sleep on the road, can't seem to break the pattern. Perhaps if I had a reason to stay in bed, hmmm.

While it was nice to see the Goob showing up yesterday, I'm amazed at the lengths to which she will go to come up with another lame excuse to not provide me with the promised, and famed, Polish Wodka. This time it was being admitted to hospital with a severe asthma attack. Sheesh!
Seriously Goob, we're all glad you're on the mend, you scared us. I thought it was kind of cute the way you worked in the "nippage" in your comment. What a Prevert!

Another bud showed up yesterday safe and sound from his Caribbean cruise. Seriously, can you look us in the eye, interneterly (what?), and tell us you deserve to be living that high on the hog?

In transferring everything over to this layout it was not possible to save the comments from the last page. Somehow the sun will continue to rise in the East so I guess we'll be alright.

I've come to enjoy putting up a nattering type of post in the morning, then later in the day a picture that I hope you enjoy. Because I've been thinking of moving to a more peaceful, relaxed, area, the Kootenays, I'll stick a few pics of that area up as I did yesterday with the lane. That particular property has two homes on it, hmmm, room for my "harem"? Would be nice if one or more of my sons and family come to visit to have a guest house for them.

I've got to be careful to not get ahead of myself with thoughts, and plans, of moving. I've still got Timmy to deal with. I have my next appointment with the specialist in about 5 weeks, and will also be seeing a neuro-surgeon to discuss Gamma-Knife surgery. Not sure I'm a suitable candidate, but I'm hoping. Still it's nice to have enough life left in me to at least dream of a better place to spend my days.
